A letter intended for all teams
Hi Everyone
"An organization that has no ISSUES, sees no GROWTH"
The management and its team have strived hard this year to improve the quality of the league in terms of organization, responsiveness, consistency,
implementation of rules and policies, etc. Given the constraint such as slumping economic/ job scenario, struggling businesses, family committments
and lack of volunteers the management has done its best to handle matters in the right way.
The 2008 season saw a lot of improvements but it is always marred by some incidents which if not avoidable can be reduced to great extent. The biggest
problem was the occurence of some ugly incidents between couple of teams and umpires. The management wishes to highlight the incident involving a few
players of Lucky XI and the umpires during the first round of play-offs and this is just one such instance amongst many. In addition to the above incident,
this team has been involved in 3 other incidents - 2 instances during their matches agianst Springfield and Jaguars and in one incident (as part of spectators)
during the match between Chicago Fire and Chicago Giants. The management takes severe objection to such behavior and pledges to take severe action against the
offenders. This action by the management should have and could have been taken earlier but we strongly believe "Better late than Never".
The management hereby issues very strict warnings to all teams to refrain from such behavior and to play the game in the right spirit. Any further incidents
shall have immediate repercussions possibly ending in players being evicted/suspended and also teams getting suspended. Here is a list of Dont's during
matches (this is not an exclusive list)
The management requests all teams to enjoy the game by playing it in the right spirit. Remember it is a privilege that we get a chance to play this game away from homeland.
