Practice Session
Season 2010

 

Practice facilities are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The batting cages at Community Park and the ground at Heritage Park will be available to the MCC teams beginning April 10, 2010 for practice and/or pre-season games.

In order to reserve the facilities, interested teams should:

1. E-mail practice@midwestcricket.org and indicate the location and the day needed reserved for their team.

2. Payment in the amount of $400 (for full season), $300 (for first 10 practice sessions), $100 (for full pre-season games) and $50 (for 1/2 pre-season games) @ Hanover Park, $50 (for full pre-season games) and $25 (for 1/2 pre-season games) @ Washington Park, checks payable to "Midwest Cricket Conference".

3.The payments for practices should be made as soon as possible but before the first practice session. Failure to meet this deadline would allow another team to fill that slot. For pre-season games, payment should be made at least one week prior to the game date.

Once payment is received the ground will be reserved for your team for a period of 10 weeks. You will be required to make the payment for the next 10 weeks a minimum of 8 weeks from start of your sessions.

Please note that the facilities will be allotted on a First-Come-First-Serve basis, so please send in your reservations & payments as soon as possible. For teams that do not want to commit for the entire season the fee would be $35 per session based on availability (priority would be given to season reservations).

All weekday sessions will be from 5:30PM-7:30PM, care should be taken regarding cleanliness as each captain will be responsible for any violations and payment of subsequent fines.

For booking a practice date or pre-season game, please send in your requests to practice@midwestcricket.org.
In order to accommodate as many teams as possible, each request for a practice game will now be allotted for 5 hour blocks only. If no request comes in for the same ground and date, then the team/s originally requesting the ground & date will be awarded the whole day.

The fees would be reduced in case 4 teams end up playing, which would be $25 per team.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY TEAMS PLAYING AT THE FACILITIES WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION FROM MCC WILL BE PENALIZED $100 PER OCCURRENCE WITH EXPULSION FROM THE LEAGUE AFTER 3 OCCURRENCES. THE PARK DISTRICT PERSONNEL ARE (& WILL BE) MONITORING THE USAGE OF THE FACILITIES.
