CONDOLENCES
We are deeply saddened to announce the demise of Nasir
Nazar's mother and the grand mother of Shiraz, Faraz and Asmar Najam on
Wednesday the 27th of January. At this moment of great sorrow, please join us in
expressing our heartfelt condolences to their family and in letting them know
that we all share the grief and we pray for the deceased soul to rest in peace.
As we all know this is a personally challenging moment for the family and it's
very important that they spend their time with their family. Hence, may we
request all those who wish to express their condolences and moral support, to do

Once again let us pray that God gives the strength to Nasir Nazar, Shiraz Najam,
Faraz Najam, Asmar Najam and their family to overcome this great loss and to

2010 Season
Registration
Deadline Extended
The
non-refundable registration fee of $300 and past due (if any) must be paid by
February 14th, 2010
by teams registering for 2010 season. Members who fail to pay the
registration fee and any outstanding balance from 2009 by the stipulated date shall be deemed
ineligible to participate in activities of the Association, including voting.
Make Checks or
Money Orders payable to MIDWEST CRICKET CONFERENCE. Write CLUB NAME on Check or
Money Order for proper credit and mail it to
Humayun Mirza
at 18149 Autumn Ridge Drive, Orland Park, IL 60467.
All new teams kindly
send in the
registration fee along with the Team Name, Primary & Secondary Contact
information and Division preferred to registration@midwestcricket.org. All the
above terms & timelines apply to new teams without exception.
A late fee penalty shall be assessed if membership fees are not
paid by the stipulated date of February 14th.

Division I - Final
Challengers became Div I champions be defeating Peoria by 4 wickets. For the winners, Afroze (57*), Nirav (37*) and Ankur (3 wickets) played a prominent part. Peoria’s Chakri distinguished himself with a stylish 60 which went in vain though.
Rogers Park and Royals move to Div II for 2010 Season.
Division II - Final
Rovers became Div II champions with a facile 4 wicket win over QC Kings, made possible largely to inspired spells from Ravi (4 for 43) and Prakash (3 for 22) followed by responsible knocks from Dinesh (80*) and Raja (41).
CCI and Rovers move to Div I for 2010 Season.
Thirty-Thirty - Final
Centurions won the Thirty - 30 championship defeating Panthers by 14 runs led by Gerber’s all round performance and Shashtri’s 3 wicket haul.
